Start Evening Prayer on Your College Campus

Our generation is in chaos. In our non-denominational and atheistic pluralistic culture there is a lot of confusion going on in our nation. Young people are starting to flock to Christ. This is good. But there is no root in how to flock to him. The church, historically, has flocked to the rock of our salvation through the daily office in morning and evening prayer. In order to give people a medium to flock to the rock, morning and evening prayer guides the thoughts, words, and intentions of God’s people to an orientation of truth, goodness and beauty. At Lancaster Bible College, Reformed Evangelical Catholic Press has pioneered Evening Prayer in a nondenominational context through an on campus club called Roots of Revival. In this club, Evening prayer meets the Evangelical where he is and gives him biblical words to pray through these hard times. Whether it be the murders and political assassinations of our time to the daily struggles with homework and relationships, Evening prayer is that scriptural rock where Christ the Word meets His brothers and sisters.
